If you want to go to a cafe that has more to offer than a lame Americano but without it being a gimmick, Cafe Bee & Honey should be on your list!
At this point, I’ve had the opportunity to explore a number of cafes in Pyeongteak and this one takes the cake! Tasty, good prices, a fun theme and fresh honey. Yummy!

Entering the cafe, you walk into a small space that offers you free honey tasting of 6 different types as well as many honey products in various sizes for sale! Including tangerine honey, wild flower honey and a wide variety of other flower combos! This fun little experience let’s you try some of the many honeys they have before making an additional purchase.
They offer a number of tasty products with honeycomb in it, including ice cream, toast, affogato, Greek yogurt, and waffles. Prices of food was great -> ranging from 4,500-8,000.
We ordered the affogato, the waffle and the cheese bread sandwich (I wouldn’t recommend the cheese bread – it has mustard and not the best meat). But we loved the waffle so much we went back for seconds!
Sugar overload!
There are also a number of honeycomb / honey coffee drinks. From honeycombs lattes to honeycomb ice Americano, there’s a number of them to try.
We went for two honey Einspainers! Fantastic. There was even a little pollen added on top in little balls.
While enjoying your tasty snacks, you can observe the honey bees as they buzz around their homes. It was rainy so they weren’t too active, which we were fine with! Haha
There are three seating areas – inside and outside the cafe, and then a second building right next to the main building. The adorable honeycomb theme ran throughout.
Get your free Honey!
They offer a way to get a small free(50g jar) honey sample. All you need to do is follow them on Instagram (@beenhoney) and make a post using the hashtags #별이랑꿀이랑 # 허니카페 # 평택카페
You could also post on a Naver blog or a Naver review using your receipt.
After writing the review/post just show it to the staff and get your free honey! You can’t pick your free honey flavor – they have one selected to give out at that time.
Honey Products & Gifts!
They offer a selection of honeycomb products and gift boxes. Awesome place to get a gift for someone special!
They have two different types of honeycombs for sale for decent prices (11-13,000 won) “Ugly Honeycombs” and “Golden Combs”. The golden combs come on the waffle and affogato, while the toast is paired with the ugly honeycomb.
I got 3 tiny golden combs called ‘Pocket Honeycomb”, they have hidden them near the food pick up area, for 3,700 won a piece – a great little gift for the people in my office!
If you don’t want to get the bottles of honey they offer, or want a different shape, you can fill up glass/plastic jars of one of 5 flavors (Dew Honey, Wildflower Honey, Linden Honey, Acacia Honey, Multiflora Honey). They rotate these honeys, so it might be a different selection when you are there!
I didn’t take a picture but in the room to the left of the entrance is another seating area. There they sell unscented bees wax candles in cute deigns! Also great prices (7,000 -15,000 won).
